May be it is the Asian culture, we are too humble to acknowledge the credit for our work. It just struck me the other day that Ernest will not be where he is today if we, the parents have not rally for him since day one. Yes, it is our community and the divine power that supported our son’s success, 100% grateful. Parents/caregiver are the constant, life long supporters, advocates, provider… We have to treat ourself well and we have to learn to take some credit for ourself.
